Kate M. Lewis is a member of the Cage | Bucar | Lewis  Family Law Group. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Columbia University in New York City, and her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.

Kate specializes in high conflict parenting disputes, cases involving mental health issues, domestic violence, and substance abuse. She primarily practices in divorces, separations, allocation of parental responsibility actions, post-decree child support and/or maintenance modifications, parenting time disputes, high asset divorces, complicated financial matters, family law appeals and protection orders. Kate is also a mediator, parenting coordinator and decision maker.

Kate vigorously advocates for her clients both in and out of the courtroom. She devotes 100% of her practice to family law, and understands the toll that these cases take on the clients. She is both an advocate and a counselor to her clients, and will connect her clients to the right team of financial planners, therapists, and experts needed to facilitate the special needs of their cases.

Kate has experience in numerous Colorado courts including Denver, Arapahoe, Adams, Jefferson, Pueblo, Washington, Broomfield, Boulder, El Paso, Larimer, and Douglas counties.

Kate is also an endurance athlete and enjoys triathlon, running, cycling, swimming, skiing, hiking and traveling. In 2010 she completed her first full Ironman.

Kate enjoys working with local organizations and is an advocate for underprivileged persons. She is passionate about providing these people with legal representation, as evidenced by her involvement in community organizations, including:
