After Hurricane Katrina, Nate interned at the New Orleans Public Defenders Office, which further cultivated his desire to help clients through the most emotional and difficult events of their lives.

Nate began his legal career as an attorney in New York. After moving to Colorado, he practiced Family Law in Denver, prior to joining the family law team at CCB. Nate practices primarily in family law, with experience in divorces and separations, allocation of parental responsibility actions, and protection orders. He also has practiced in the areas of probate litigation, civil and commercial litigation, and various contract matters.

Since joining the firm Nate has continued his work to help others, serving as the Chair of the Adams/Broomfield Bar Association Family Law Section and as a board member with the Mapleton Education Foundation. His commitment to the community has been recognized by his peers with him being awarded as the Young Attorney of the Year by the Adams/Broomfield Bar Association (ABBA) in 2015. And his selection to the Colorado Super Lawyers, Rising Stars list for his work in family law in 2014 and 2015.

Nate understands, through his professional and personal experience, that divorces and disputes concerning children represent the most difficult time in his clients' lives. He firmly believes that, while different approaches and strategies are required for each case, compassion, commitment, and attention to his clients' concerns are always of the utmost importance. He approaches each case with the attention to detail, meticulous preparation, and aggressive representation that he would expect of an attorney representing one of his own family members.
